The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) seeks a motivated leader to serve as the Director of Business Services. This position is located on the Juneau campus with regional responsibilities including the Ketchikan and Sitka campuses. The Business Services Director is a member of the administrative leadership team, reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Administration in collaboration with the directors of Budget, Facilities, and Human Resources. The Business Office provides the University an array of services from student billing and account services to procurement and vendor management and payment. The Business Office is responsible for ensuring fiscal processes and procedures are conducted in compliance with Board of Regent's Policy, Alaska State Statute and Federal Regulations. UAS operates as part of the larger University of Alaska (UA) system. This position will collaborate closely with peer positions at the other UA universities and with the UA system office. Delegated responsibility for financial controls, internal control, business continuity, strong customer service and effective stewardship of university resources.
